Understand categorical data, and the types of numerical data: discrete and continuous.

3. Levels of Measurement

Learn about qualitative and quantitative measurement.

4. Visualizing Data

Learn the basics of visualizing data with both numerical and categorical variables.

5. Graphs & Charts

Understand how to create histograms, cross tables and scatter plots.

6. Measures of Central Tendency

Understand how to calculate the mean, median and mode of a data set.

7. Asymmetry & Variability

Take a closer look at skewness, variance, standard deviation and the coefficient of variance.

8. Covariance & Correlation

Understand covariance and correlation, and the important factors of each.

9. Case Study: A Business Analysis

Apply lessons from the course to analyze a California real estate company.
