Previously, the organization collaborated with other business partners who offered an in-person user experience with classroom instruction for groups with the same level of English. During this experience, they realized two key aspects that were not working for the company: low levels of engagement on behalf of both teachers and employees, and an inconvenient class schedule.

The company had a partnership for face-to-face classes, but did not see a result in the proficiency to get the work tasks done with more productivity. Teacher and student engagement was low.
