Voxy and Fundação Estudar Partner to Prepare Brazilian Students for Elite U.S. Universities

Language learning platform provides access to English training licenses for students in Fundação Estudar’s Prep Program, with a focus on TOEFL preparation.

São Paulo, May 8, 2026 — Voxy, a global language learning platform for businesses and institutions, and Fundação Estudar, a nonprofit organization with 35 years of experience selecting and developing talented young Brazilians, today announce a partnership aimed at expanding access to world-class education for Brazilian students with the potential to attend top universities around the globe.

The Program: TOEFL Preparation

Through this partnership, students selected for Fundação Estudar’s Prep Program — a free preparatory initiative supporting high school students in gaining admission to universities abroad — will receive access to the Voxy platform for 12 months, at no cost to participants.

The program’s core focus is TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) preparation, the English proficiency exam required by the vast majority of American universities, including Ivy League institutions such as Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and MIT. Students will complete the TOEFL prep course available on the platform and engage in regular practice and proficiency-level activities.

Voxy offers a personalized approach to language learning: students complete a proficiency assessment (VPA) at the start of the program and every 90 days, enabling the system to recommend content tailored to each learner’s profile and level. With unlimited access to lessons, courses, and materials focused on professional and communication skills, participants will benefit from a robust and structured preparation experience.

Why This Partnership Matters

Fundação Estudar was founded by Jorge Paulo Lemann, Beto Sicupira, and Marcel Telles. Its Prep Program is one of the foundation’s initiatives aimed at high school students and has supported more than 680 students since 2009, resulting in over 1,620 admissions to top universities around the world across 177 different institutions, with individualized coaching to maximize acceptance rates at the world’s leading academic institutions.

English proficiency is frequently one of the greatest barriers preventing talented young Brazilians from gaining admission to elite international universities. This partnership represents a concrete opportunity to remove that barrier, ensuring that language is never a limiting factor for those with potential and drive.
